Live by the Holy Spirit

Ephesians 5:15-20

15 So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. 17 Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. 18 Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, 19 singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. 20 And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

These six verses really capture how we are to live in order to please God. Be prudent and wise. Make use of your resources to their fullest extent. Think before you act by knowing what God wants you to do and when He wants you to do it. Don't get physically drunk, but be drunk in the Holy Spirit. Sing praises to God and give thanks to Him for everything He has given you. Enough said.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)

The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you; The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
